Friday 20th November - Hope

Friday 20th November - Hope

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18  (NIV)
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage one another with these words.

There is a day - Lou Fellingham

This year we have seen so much loss and suffering through all ages. We must never loose hope and remember that for those of us who believe in Christ we have eternal life with him in Heaven. We can comfort and give support to others and encourage them, in time, to explore that for themselves if they have not already.  Death truly can loose its sting.

Today lift prayers for the thousands of families who have lost loved ones this year; that as shorter days and darker nights come they would remember the Light of Christ and the Hope of Heaven.
